LipoDissolve is a non-surgical alternative to small areas of liposuction. For resistant areas of fat, medicine is injected that breaks down fat cells. The fat is then reabsorbed by the body and excreted via the biliary system and kidneys. Inches can be removed with a series of injections into the subcutaneous tissue. Most patients see results after the second treatment and can be long lasting if proper diet and excercise are maintained. Most common areas treated are the back of the thigh, the saddle bags, abdominal wall, love handles, under chin and jowels.
Lipodissolve is not a weight loss treatment. Only local areas are treated with the maximum being two areas of the outstretched hand on each side (4 areas altogether). After 3 to 5 sessions results can be seen as a decrease in inches of the treated area. Each session lasts one hour, and spaced about 6 weeks after the prior session – so at least 3 months should be given for the results to be seen. Normal daily activities usually can be resumed after the treatment.
