Dr. Oleszek prides himself on integrating non-traditional medical treatments such as, endermologie, muscle stimulation and InfraRed wraps and combining them with well-known medical threatments including, mesotherapy, subcision, LipoDissolve and the Accent XL radiofrequency device. With the many modalities available, La Fontaine is able to provide each patient with an individualized and very powerful treatment plan against cellulite.
Lipodissolve can significantly smooth out the dimpling of a particular type of cellulite. This cellulite’s main cause is the excess fat under the skin causing protrusion of fat leading to the dimpling (as oppossed to laxity in the skin causing the the cellulite). LipoDissolve can improve this type of cellulite by decreasing the fat volume directly uder the skin using medicines that can break down fat cells, thus decreasing fat volume, and dissolve the fibrous bands that tether the skin creating cellulite’s orange peel appearance. We use lipoDissolve as a adjunct to the other treatments. Mostly to reduce fat volume and create a more aesthetically pleasing figure. The most popular areas treated are the saddle bags, love handles, abdominal wall and of course, the banana – just under the gluteal fold.
The Accent XL tightens the skin and shrinks local fatty areas that can further decrease the dimpling of cellulite. Just stretch the cellulitic skin and you’ll notice it lessens the cellulite. This is how the Accent XL works against cellulite. The Accent XL is optimally used over larger areas with skin irreguarrity or undululating areas such as the back of the thigh, anterior thigh, including just above the knee, where skin can become crepey.
For treating dimples or depressions in the skin, subcision, a minor surgical procedure, releases the depression, thus, smoothing that area, most often permanently. This treatment is one of the major treatments we use here at La Fontaine.
InfraRed wraps have been used in spas for body treatments many years. The InfraRed heat has been shown to increase circulation, improve lymphatic flow and increase fat metabolism. InfraRed wraps are a great adjunct to our other cellulite treatments. Or on there own, just before a beach vacation.
EndermologieTM was introduced to America from France. The French have brought us many nice things and Endermologie is another one. It has been the mainstay of cellulite treatment since its arrival. Endermologie uses suction and massage to disrupt the fat-fibous band orientation, improve local circulation and lymphatic. This all improves cellulite’s appearance, albeit temporary. We use Endermologie along side the more permanent treatments to increase overall effectiveness.
Often, Dr. Oleszek will use these treatments in conjunction with the Accent XL, as using multiple treatment types improve the overall effectiveness.
