The Accent XL radiofrequency medical device can be used to treat resistant areas of fat, as well as, tighten, smooth, and tone irregular (cellulite) or loose skin virtually anywhere on the body. The treatment can help flatten your stomach, slim your hips and thighs. Many patients also consider it after surgery or having a baby.
The most common body areas treated are for spot fat reduction and include the abdomen (the lower abdominal ponch or muffin top), love handles, thigh, saddle bags, buttocks, back fat rolls, bra bulge, inner knees and inner thighs. Also areas on the face, such as, the jowls and under chin excess fat can be treated.
Sagging or excess skin: The ’After-Baby Tummy’ or the ‘After Liposuction’ skin irregularity are common areas to be treated. We can also treat loose skin on the neck and face.
Cellulite or skin irregularity can also be treated with the Accent XL. We use both hanpieces to smooth, tone and shaoe those stubborn areas of cellulite.
Specialty areas include the Buttocks Lift and the non-surgical face lift. The buttocks lift uses both the superfical handpiece and the deeper fat reducing handpiece to shape and lift the buttocks to give a more rounded and youthful appearance. The non-surical face lift is used to tighten the skin, lift and lessen the jowls, creating a more youthful jaw line.
Generally, four to six treatments at two to three weeks intervals will be required for optimal results.
Treatment is not suitable for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, people fitted with pacemakers, diabetics, or on photosensitizing drugs. People with metal plates, pins and other prostetic joints should not have Accent treatments on those areas.
